Are The Checks in The Mail for West, Texas?

A busy week in Texas last week with the $10,000 minimum per plate private dinner for the Democratic Party and the GOP patrons of the Bush Library gathering for the dedication, as well as a giant explosion in West, Texas which killed 14, injured 200, and left a small town decimated. Of course, the Boston Marathon bombing dominated the national news and, in response, $26 million poured in immediately to help the survivors of this terrible act. Disaster donations are a strange phenomena, as only $1 million has arrived for West, Texas, $200,000 of which came from the Czech Republic and $200,000 from the Salvation Army. Are the citizens of West any less innocent than the victims in Boston, or the Hurricane Sandy victims, or the victims of Joplin, Missouri who received $40 million to rebuild their town? Why weren’t those same dinner party attendees and library benefactors writing checks for West, Texas and having them hand carried to the memorial service in Waco by President Obama and John Boehner last Thursday? The citizens of this wonderful community need our help, because they were innocently BOMBED by a fertilizer plant explosion. So, where are the donations for West, Texas?
